Subject: stumper-poem Heigh ho
A patron would like to locate a poem she remembers from a 1948 or 1949
Childcraft that begins "Heigh Ho said the jolly old giant". I've
checked
Grangers and Brewton's Index to Children's Poetry, but haven't turned it
up. Does anyone remember this, or know where to locate it? Thank you!

Subject: Re: Cataloguing of easy readers
Susan, our cataloguing department doesn't go that far. They catalogue it
as a picture book, and then it is stamped easy reader, toddler, etc. after
it comes to the children's dept. It is also given a different colored
sticker on the spine of the book and shelved separately from the other
picture books. Our computerized catalog doesn't make the distinction
either, so the patrons are confused sometimes, especially if they aren't
familiar with the library. Hopefully, most of them check with us before
walking away empty-handed. Also, our Caldecott's and Newbery's are
inner-shelved with the E's and J's. We do have lists available with the
section where the books are found for the Caldecott's and Newbery's. Hope
this helps with your question. Good Luck!
