Someone on the listserv asked me to send them information about the "Dream
Dare Do" yo-yo program that we will be hosting at our library. Unfortunately
I must have deleted that person's message. I believe it was someone from
Indiana. If this is you, please e-mail me again. Thanks.

Hello to all,
We are pleased to announce the winner for the 1999 Wyoming Indian
Paintbrush Book Award. This year Phyllis Naylor's Saving Shiloh was chosen
as Wyoming children's favorite book. Students in grades 4, 5, and 6 not
only vote for their favorite author each year, they also nominate the
books for consideration.

Hello all, a few months ago I recall seeing a poem or song about book
care for preschoolers on this list. I searched the pubyac archives, but
couldn't find it. I would really appreciate it if someone could post it
again for me! Thank you very much!

Subject: Frog Who Eats His Suit

I am looking for a story about a frog who wants to make a good
impression, so he eats his suit. (Patron says frogs really do this in
the wild.) The moral of the story: don't try to be something you
aren't. Patron, now in his 30's, remembers this from his childhood. He
thinks it could be in a book titled, WHERE THE WEST WIND BLOWS. We
could not verify.

If you remember the story, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks in advance,

A teacher from a local elementary school remembers the following storyline
from a fairytale, can you name the title?
Someone goes down a hallway, or it's in a cave, and finds three doors.
Each door is guarded by a dog each one being bigger than the last. The
largest dog has eyes as big as tea cups. Behind every door is a treasure.
