LIBRARIAN I, YOUTH SERVICES (2 positions): Creative and
enthusiastic librarian to plan and present dynamic story
programs for children of all ages and provide information

reference, collection development and readers' advisory for

Please can anyone help with this tricky one-
A book about a wee chicken who hatches out of an egg and wanders around to
find his brothers and sisters. On his journey he meets lots of other
animals who hatch from eggs e.g. alligators, ducks.
It's an interactive book with egg shapes to lift and see the baby animals.
I have looked through our pop-up collection and am in the process of going
through A-Zoo. If anyone can instantly recall the title, please e-mail me
directly as soon as possible. Thank you so much.

Please can someone help me locate the title of this book?
A picture book with a little red lighthouse and a bridge. Set in New York
(very much a local book). The lighthouse is based on a real lighthouse and
the lighthouse was threatened with being demolished, I think and there was a
huge uproar among the citizens of New York saying that this lighthouse could
not go because of this book!
I'm sure someone in New York will be able to help. We have had some
difficulty locating it in Dunedin, New Zealand. Please reply directly to
me. Thanks very much.
