<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV>Hi. Just a quick
note (as we all
breathe a sigh of exhaustion with summer reading club
coming to an
end) to let librarians in the Dallas-Fort Worth area know about a great
performer. Drummer Eric Stuer did a percussion program for my
branch
library last week and was awesome. He is professional and keeps the children
engaged. He did a combination of his "Drums Around the World" and
a rhythm
workshop for elementary-aged children. The children and parents
loved
it. They were really jamming and sounded like professional musicians on
coffee cans! His website is <A

I highly recommend
him. Feel free to contact me for more info.</DIV>

Hello again!
=20
Thanks to everyone for such prompt responses to my request for Banned =
Books Week information!

Several of you have asked about the press kits, so I thought I should =
clarify to the list. I am seeking information from libraries to
include =
in the press kit to be mailed to general media nationwide, including daily =
newspapers and talk radio. The kit contents also will be available
online =
at the ALA Web site for everyone to read/use/tailor for your individual =
communities. The online kit is not restricted to media, ALA membersh
or =
even to librarians -- anyone can find it in the Public Information Office =
Web areas. To see last year's kit, go here:
