Hello all-
Does anyone know of a good source to purchase character puppets
(Arthur,
Very Hungry Caterpillar etc)? I've looked through Upstart and
Lakeshore but
if they have them, they come with props and I just want the puppets.
You can e-mail me at krystal_brown@gurlmail.com.
Thanks in advance!

If your library has done a successful outreach program to childcare centers
and /or daycare providers, would you be willing to share the basics of your
program, (how you reached the providers, what you presented and how often,
etc.) to me at the address below?
Thank you very much, in advance!

I haven't really had much problem with this issue, runny noses and such,
but it seems that we/you could easily put into your storytime regulations
that parents cannot leave children who are contagious. At our library, we
make stipulations such as the parents must remain in the library during
storytime etc. If it were an issue for me, I would probably make that one
of the few stipulations I have. As a matter of fact, I might mention it in
our fall session guidelines just in case.

Does anyone know the title of the first in this series?
And, assuming it is out of print, would someone please send me a plot
summary. I have some patrons who want to know how the children ended
up in
the boxcar, and how their grandfather found them.
