I, also, am interested in information on helping homeschoolers.  We have a
large population of homeschoolers in our community and supporting them is
one
of my goals.

Thanks.

Patricia,
We have had two Homeschooler Socials at the library.  The adults
visit
and get to know each other, while we do a storytime for the children.  We
ask
each family to bring a snack to share and we provide drinks.  The families
seem to enjoy the chance to share ideas and sources, and get acquainted.  We

also keep a running list of homeschooling families in the community who are
willing to be resources for families considering homeschooling or who are
new
to the area.
I also have monthly book groups for homeschoolers aged 8-11.  Boys
and
girls meet separately to discuss the book, do activities related to the
book,
and have a snack.
