I'm doing a paper on "Teen Volunteers in the library" for a class. I would
like to know if you feel they are helpful to your libraries.
Thank You

It is easier for the patrons, but probably saves the pages time in shelving,
and the librarians time since you don't have as many places to look for a
particular title.

Many thanks to Cathy Burnsed and Marcia Colson, who suggested "Hide
and Sneak" by Michael Kusugak and "Dreamstones" by Maxine Trottier,
respectively.  "Dreamstones" is the book I was searching for about the boy
who
gets separated from his parents (really just his dad) and ends up
sleeping at the foot of an inuksuk...  Can't wait to get my hands on
it again!

Once again, PUBYAC is great!

I am trying to find the book, "The Little Yellow Chick" in big book,
does anyone now where I can find it.  It is a wonderful story to do
with "The LIttle Red Hen".

For those of you who circulate Leaf Frog Products, can you tell me what
you
have purchased and how you circulate it.  Has this been a good thing for
your library?
Thanks,

I recently had a sales person come into our school library and brought
info on Leap Frog for me to look at.  He claims it is becoming a real
big thing in schools.  We are getting ready to do requistions and I was
wondering also if libraries should think about it or not.  Please let
me know as well.  My email is vickis@yellowbananas.com or you can can
email through PUBYAC.
