OK, folks, I've received news that all operations at Prairienet are back to
normal.  You can continue posting again.

There was a post on Wed. Feb. 11 that I was really looking forward to
reading the discussion.  But because our conversation was so rudely
interrupted, we never got that chance.  So I am going to resend Carol
Albin's message about "Kids you love to hate."

As for migrating to the new MailMan software, I am now configuring the list
and doing some initial checking to make sure it's working.  I will contact
my list of volunteers early next week with instructions.  I could still use
some volunteers from countries other than the United States and Canada
though.....

Hi!

When you receive a nicely done flyer/brochure/postcard (from an author or
publisher) announcing a new children's book, do you find this to be
unsolicited
junk mail? Do you ever find the mailings helpful or interesting? Do you ever
purchase a book through this type of advertising? Lastly, which, if any, do
you prefer to receive or find most effective: flyer, brochure or postcard?

Thank you in advance for your response. Your information will be helpful
with my marketing research.

Best always,
Tabatha Jean D'Agata
