Topics covered in this issue include: 1) PUBYAC migration problems by "Pyowner" <pyowner@pallasinc.com> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Message-ID: <00f101c400af$08d32a70$5574a9cd@jeffcolib.org> From: "Pyowner" <pyowner@pallasinc.com> To: "pubyac" <pubyac@prairienet.org> Subject: PUBYAC migration problems Date: Tue, 2 Mar 2004 16:35:20 -0700 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi all. This message is coming to you from the "old" PUBYAC, because I needed a way to contact those of you who don't appear to be getting any PUBYAC messages. We can't figure out what's wrong. Some of you are getting your individual or digests just fine, and others are not getting anything. We're not seeing a pattern that makes sense. For those of you who were unsubscribed, you were resubscribed again, so don't worry about that. It is migration glitches. But this lack of messages has me worried, and so I am back on the old PUBYAC to let you know about it. We didn't experience these problems with the guinea pig group, so I am starting to think that a much larger subscriber list is the problem. You ALL should be able to get into Prairienet archives with your most recent Welcome message password to read all the messages that have gone out (in March) on the new PUBYAC. The URL is https://mail.prairienet.org/mailman/private/pubyac/ but you need to login with your password b/c the archives are protected from spider bots that steal e-mail addresses. Now, to help me diagnose the problem, those of you who are receiving individual PUBYAC messages from Monday and Tuesday that begin with [PY] as the subject heading, please e-mail me back (one message from each person) and let me know. I may be able to figure out that a section of the subscriber list works. Reply to pyowner@pallasinc.com. Thanks, and sorry for all the migration hassles. This wasn't supposed to happen.
