Many thanks to all who sent titles for a bibliography on violence in
children's (not YA ) literature. The whole list follows. I also have a
four-page (and growing) bibliography on violence in YA fiction, arranged by
category of violence, which is too long to post, but I am willing to fax it
to anybody who wants to E-mail me a request. Patty Campbell

ubject: STUMPER of a different stripe
Help once again..We just received Jane Yolen and Heidi Stemple's
book Meet the Monsters (Walker, 1996) and are at a loss about where to put
it. We have arguments for Picture book, Fiction, j133, j591, j398,
j811... None is a clear-cut solution. Your call number and arguments
would be most helpful. Thanx, jeri jkladder@freenet.columbus.oh.us

Subject: STUMPER - girl lost on a boat
A patron has requested a chapter book she read about 25 years ago about
a girl being lost on a boat with babies, and a shipwreck was probably
part of it. Any ideas? Thank you; I haven't a clue.

We are looking for training videos for a college class pertaining to reading

Thank you!
