Hello all...I've got a tough one for you.
Today I had a patron come in looking for fiction
(preferably) or nonfiction books for children or young
teens about homosexuality.
Here's the catch though, she wants books that show the
issue from an "opposing" viewpoint.
All the books I could find on the topic seem to center
around a theme of tolerance and empathy, etc., which
she specifically said she didn't want.
Have any of you come across any books on this topic
that are written from the Christian Right point of
view? Nonfiction would be okay but she's really
looking for fiction.
TIA,
Jennifer Baker

Thanks to all who helped with our stumper about the land with a red sun
and a blue sun.
The overwhelming response has led me to believe that this is indeed a
title by Jean Marzollo called Red Sun Girl (Dial, 1983). It evidently
has
a sequel titled Blue Sun Ben.
Thanks again to all - you're great!

Hello Great minds,
I was hoping that someone out there can help me. A
patron came in yesterday looking for some books
(geared towards a 4-5 year old) about single parent
house holds. The father has never really been in the
picture and apparently he never will be.
The mother does have the book All kinds of Families
but is looking for some new stuff too.
Hope someone can help
Thanks
